RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt will meet for the second time in 11 days. These two Bundesliga clubs will convene at the Red Bull Arena on Sunday, with the Red Bulls looking to win against Die Adler for the second straight time. Lois Openda and Benjamin Sesko have shared the attacking responsibilities for the Red Bulls by combining for nine league goals and five assists. Antonio Nusa is supporting Openda and Sesko in the final third by filling for Xavi Simons and recording two league goals and three assists. Andre Silva and Christoph Baumgartner have also seen an uptick in usage with Simons out, with the former already having one league goal and one assist.

RB Leipzig are eliminated from the Champions League after their latest loss against Aston Villa, so they will turn their full focus on the domestic front from here on out.

 

Marmoush keeps his foot on the gas for Eintracht Frankfurt

Omar Marmoush has been a revelation for Eintracht Frankfurt, as the Egyptian forward is in the Bundesliga Golden Boot conversation. The 25-year-old currently has 13 league goals and a league-high seven assists. Marmoush has formed a dynamic front duo with Hugo Ekitike, who already has seven league goals and three assists.

Eintracht Frankfurt haven’t lost a Bundesliga match since a 2-1 result against Bayer Leverkusen last October. However, Die Adler are winless in their last three games across all competitions. In their 3-2 defeat against Lyon last night, Omar Marmoush came off the bench and scored one goal, so he should have fresher legs on Sunday.

Besides Marmoush and Ekitike, Eintracht Frankfurt fans will be monitoring the development of Nathaniel Brown. The 21-year-old left-back is one of the top candidates for the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award for November, and he already has two league goals and two assists.
